Freshly Roasted Organic Coffee Delivered Straight to Your Door

The San Diego Zoo has a new club for “bearistas,” people who want to enjoy organically grown coffee while helping the environment. The Zoo Brew Coffee Club allows people to buy coffee harvested in areas where the Zoo is involved in conservation projects. The Zoo Brew coffee is then regularly delivered right to the bearista’s door.

Zoo Brew is made of 100-percent certified shade-grown organic coffee beans. This special coffee supports only organic farming methods that preserve natural habitats and earn growers fair wages. And that’s something coffee lovers can feel good about with every sip! These “grounds for conservation” are one of the small changes people can make in their daily routine to help preserve nature.

People interested in joining the San Diego Zoo’s Zoo Brew Coffee Club can go to zoobrewcoffee.com. There, they select any of the delicious coffees including African Blend, Conservation Blend, House Blend, House Blend decaf, Brazilian, Columbian, Peruvian and Peruvian decaf. At check-out, bearistas decide how often they want the coffee delivered. Next step: Enjoy!

The 100-acre San Diego Zoo is dedicated to the conservation of endangered species and their habitats. The organization focuses on conservation and research work around the globe, educates millions of individuals a year about wildlife and maintains accredited horticultural, animal, library and photo collections. The Zoo also manages the 1,800-acre San Diego Zoo’s Wild Animal Park, which includes a 900-acre native species reserve, and the San Diego Zoo’s Institute for Conservation Research. The important conservation and science work of these entities is supported in part by The Foundation of the Zoological Society of San Diego.
